    Job Description

    The JM Family College Internship program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. Students in the program will actively contribute to their team's success, learn about JM Family's company and culture and obtain new skills through learning opportunities.

    The individual selected for this internship will be working in the Learning and Organization Development (L&OD) Department of JM Family Enterprises.  This opportunity will provide the intern with exposure to OD interventions at the individual, team and organizational level.


    Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Analyzing data from various sources such as surveys, multi-rater assessments, etc. to determine themes and form hypotheses for further analysis
    • Creating executive ready reports to present findings
    • Creating templates and protocols for L&OD interventions to enable consistency in practice
    • Working on cross functional project teams
    • Conducting research on a variety of topics and presenting summarized information
    • Designing/creating internal surveys
    • Creating content for learning resources
    • Providing creative input on departmental initiatives
    • Projects as assigned

    Job Requirements

    • Actively enrolled in a graduate degree seeking program at an accredited college or university with a focus in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or Organizational Learning and Leadership
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) a must
    • Excellent skills in Microsoft office products
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Must possess professional demeanor and ability to work in a team environment
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail
    • Able to deal well with ambiguity
    • Quick learner
    • Experience with Tableau, Visio, survey design products, and writing instructional materials preferred
    • Completed coursework preferred:  
      • Statistics
      • Research Methods
      • Testing and Assessment
    • Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week on site at our Deerfield Beach location.
