    Job Description

    The JM Family College Internship program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. Are you interested in learning how one of Fortune’s Top 100 Companies to Work For attracts and retains top talent?     This internship will provide an individual with the opportunity to assist with process design and documentation, industry research, analysis, recruiting and job fairs. This will include projects and tasks that relate to Talent Acquisition as well as enterprise projects and will provide opportunities for personal and professional development while working in a collaborative team environment.

     

    Responsibilities may include:

    • Working on cross functional project teams
    • Research and analysis of talent market and HR related trends including employer branding marketing
    • Interacting and following up with applicants who are applying for positions at JM Family and related companies
    • Supporting HR teams with operational and administrative needs  Providing creative input on team initiatives
    • Exploring social media outlets and making recommendations as they relate to recruiting and hiring
    • Participating in the candidate interview process
    • Assisting with new hire orientations and new hire data analysis
    • Research and design of new processes
    • Department presentations
    • Provide assistance and support with technology related projects and initiatives

    Job Requirements

    • Must have high school diploma or equivalent 
    • Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited college or university required
    • Completed at least one semester of study at an accredited college or university
    • Actively enrolled in a degree seeking program with an interest in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labor Relations, Labor Market Analysis, Employer branding, Marketing or Business required
    • Completed one full year of study at an accredited college or university
    • Relevant completed coursework including Human Resources Operations, Employer branding/marketing, I/O Psychology, Labor Data & Analytics, HR Law, Business Law, Employee/Labor Relations or similar
    • Excellent written and verbal communications a must
    • Team player
    • Desire or interest to conduct Associate or Candidate interviews, participate in research and conduct presentations or learning sessions
    • Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week on site at our Deerfield Beach location
