SET’s Vehicle Processing Centers (VPC’s) include 2 Jacksonville, FL sites and 1 Commerce, GA site. The core business hours range from 6am – 4:30pm and the HR team flexes depending on how we can best support the business. SET is looking for a self starting, enthusiastic Recruiter/Human Resources Generalist to fill an immediate opening based out of our Westlake Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) facility in Jacksonville.
How You'd Spend your Day:
The Human Resources team is expected to be a collaborative partner within our business. We also like to have fun! We work closely together in order to apply consistent practices at each of our 4 production locations. This new Recruiter/Human Resources Generalist role will allow you to flex your creativity in building our centralized recruitment function for our VPC’s as well as lead the growing internship program. You will work closely with our HR Specialist to ensure successful onboarding and engagement activities take place including New Hire Orientation. You will also be expected to oversee our individual development programming and tools.
How You'll Be Successful:
You will need to utilize a proactive, consultative approach with your customers and candidates; provide HR expertise and guidance in the areas of recruitment, associate relations, attendance issues, leave management and leadership coaching while also making recommendations to support business and HR objectives. You will be expected to apply creative problem solving and data analysis to address business needs and issues while utilizing a cultural filter in decision making. You must be a team player who demonstrates integrity, ability to influence, initiative, innovation and courage. You will manage yourself and others through change, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
