    Job Description

    The Senior Financial Analyst position is primarily responsible for the financial support, budgeting and forecasting of JMFE Parent Company.


    • Take the lead in the Parent Company budgeting process. This includes the preparation of budget templates, communication with the cost center owners, consolidating and reviewing submissions.
    • Complete the Parent EVA reporting package including:
      • GAAP to EVA reconciliations, variance explanations and maintaining the JMFE Parent Company Essbase database outline.
      • Documenting methodology changes and calculate expected impact.
    • Coordinate and consolidate the Parent Company forecast process & provide a monthly submission of the P&L, balance sheet and EVA.
    • Provide support to Parent departments. This includes: budget & forecast support, variance analysis and special requests.
    • Coordinate the monthly Capital Committee meetings as well as review submitted Capital Expenditure Request forms, EVA analysis, presentations and supporting documentation.
    • Maintain the forecast, budget and capital expenditure Essbase “cubes” including maintenance related responsibilities.
    • Assist in the preparation of executive presentations.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field of study required; MBA a plus
    • 5+ years of business experience and the ability to demonstrate finance and accounting knowledge
    • High Level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
    • Strong analytical skills are essential
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail a must
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates
    • High level of proficiency in Essbase, including Application Manager/EAS and SmartView required
    • Familiarization of Economic Value Added (EVA) and Return on Capital concepts preferred
